Job summary

FinAgra is seeking a Senior Head of Agronomy Operations to design and oversee the agronomic operating system across its farms worldwide. The role centers on translating agronomic standards into repeatable field execution and scalable farm processes, with a strong focus on cross-site consistency.

You will lead dispersed agronomy teams, establish crop planning rhythms, and drive practical implementation of SOPs. Willingness to travel and work across markets is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong background in agronomy, crop production or related field.
• Experience managing commercial agricultural production.
• Experience across multiple production sites or geographies.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational implementation of agronomic standards across FinAgra’s farms and geographies.
• Build systems to ensure consistent production principles across locations.
• Translate crop protocols and SOPs into actionable farm plans, workflows, and controls.
• Lead and support local agronomy teams to ensure consistent execution.
• Establish operating rhythms for crop planning, field monitoring, and reviews.
• Identify gaps between planned practices and field execution; drive corrective actions.
• Work with Operations, Procurement and Product teams to ensure field execution feasibility.
• Define staffing models and processes for scaling agronomy teams.
• Standardise farm reporting of agronomic activities, risks and performance.
• Support onboarding of new farms and geographies; capture lessons learned.
