Low & Medium Voltage Technician
Are you a technically driven electrician ready to make an impact on the frontlines of the energy transition? Join a leading player in sustainable energy infrastructure, delivering high-quality LV and MV installations across diverse projects in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In this role, you'll assemble, connect, inspect, test, and maintain low- and medium-voltage installations across solar parks, substations, and industrial infrastructure projects. You'll have modern tools, strong technical support, and the freedom to take ownership on-site.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and connect LV and MV systems, switchgear, and components
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MV systems
- Test and commission new installations per industry standards
- Interpret and execute from technical drawings, specifications, and material lists
- Detect, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve faults efficiently
- Coordinate on-site activities with planners, managers, and grid operators
- Act as point-of-contact on site and supervise small teams
- Inspect materials, components, and tools to ensure installation standards
- Ensure QHSE compliance, safety, and project quality per NEN 3140/3840 requirements
- Report results and technical issues
Education & Experience
- MBO 3+ in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent (MBO 4 preferred for MV work)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in LV/MV electrical installation, service, or commissioning
Certifications & Knowledge
- Knowledge of NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 standards
- Preferably NEN 3140/3840 Stipel certified
- B driving license
Skills
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and work with MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
- Customer-focused, independent, and hands‑on
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
