Job summary

Firecom zoekt een (Junior) Operationeel Inkoper (deeltijd) in Nederland. Je zorgt voor tijdige inkoop, onderhoudt leverancierscontact en ondersteunt voorraadbeheer. Binnen de Finance & Purchase team werk je nauw samen met Sales en Logistiek. Thuiswerken is mogelijk en de office is in Lekkerkerk.

Je hebt accuracy, initiatief en leergierigheid; kennis van ERP en inkoopprocessen is een plus. Een aantrekkelijke verlofregeling en doorgroeimogelijkheden horen bij Firecom.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in operationele inkoop is een plus.
• Nauwkeurig, proactief en leergierig.
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal.

Responsibilities

• Plaatsen, verwerken en opvolgen van inkooporders.
• Leveringen volgen en contact onderhouden met nationale en internationale leveranciers.
• Controleren van orderbevestigingen.
• Wijzigen van data in het ERP-systeem.
• Voorraadbeheer en beschikbaarheid ondersteunen.
• Samenwerken met Sales, Warehouse en Field Service Engineers.
• Koppelen van inkoopdata en registreren.
• Identificeren van bottlenecks en voorstellen doen.

Firecom specializes in critical communication solutions. We supply two‑way radios, communication networks, paging systems, and alarm receivers to organizations in the industrial, healthcare, security, education, and emergency response sectors, among others.

Our customers rely on our solutions daily when communication and alerting are of vital importance. We work with renowned brands such as Motorola Solutions and Kenwood and continue to grow every year. To facilitate this growth, we are looking to strengthen our purchasing team.

What does your workday look like?

As an Operational Buyer, you are an indispensable link within our purchasing process.

You ensure that products are ordered on time, maintain contact with suppliers, and monitor the progress of deliveries. Together with the tactical/strategic buyer, you ensure that our organization always has access to the right materials.

You work within the Finance & Purchase team and have daily contact with colleagues from Sales, the Warehouse, and our Field Service Engineers. No two days are the same: one moment you are solving a delivery problem, the next you are ensuring that all item data is fully up to date.

What are you going to do?

• Placing, processing, and following up on purchase orders.
• Monitoring delivery times and maintaining contact with national and international suppliers.
• Checking and processing order confirmations.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in deliveries and orders.
• Managing and updating item, price, and supplier data in the ERP system.
• Assisting with inventory management and product availability.
• Coordinating with colleagues from Sales, Warehouse, and Field Service Engineers.
• Ensure correct registration of purchasing data.
• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for improvements within the procurement process.
• Supporting the tactical/strategic buyer with operational tasks.

We are looking for someone who likes to maintain an overview, works accurately, and thrives on a well‑organized process. You have strong communication skills, think in solutions, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and suppliers.

Preferred: Experience within operational purchasing

Experience in an administrative, logistical, or operational role is a plus, but we consider your motivation, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm at least as important.

MBO work and thinking level

Preferably in an administrative, logistics, or commercial field.

Good command of the Dutch language

Accuracy and sense of responsibility

You maintain an overview and work in a structured manner.

Motivation and a healthy dose of humor

What can you expect from us?

A challenging part‑time position where we agree on the fixed number of hours together with you.

A salary between €2.800 and €3.500 gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on your knowledge and experience.
