Job summary

MRL Consulting GmbH in the Netherlands is seeking a dedicated technician to manage the technical operation of a cleanroom and ensure the availability and function of laboratory equipment. You will organize tools and materials for ongoing engineering work and assist with installation and start-up of new laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

• Some years of experience in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting engineering teams regards to the very complex tools/ equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the technical operation of a cleanroom environment
• Take responsibility for the availability and functionality of laboratory equipment and all cleanroom areas
• Organize tools, materials, consumables and equipment required for ongoing engineering work
• Assist with the installation, configuration and start-up of new laboratory equipment
• Identify technical problems, investigate their root causes and implement appropriate solutions
• Carry out practical laboratory activities and contribute directly to experiments, testing and engineering projects
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with applicable EHS and cleanroom requirements
• Help ensure the reliable operation of technical laboratory services, including vacuum systems, gases, extraction and other utilities
• Work closely with engineering teams and external suppliers on equipment changes, installations and infrastructure improvements
• Coordinate and follow up on scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance
• Provide first-line support for technical infrastructure issues and coordinate further assistance where required
• Liaise with external parties such as landlords, contractors and specialist service companies
