Job summary

Ardmore Roderick in Florida seeks a Construction Inspector to join our client site team. You will be the on-site field representative, overseeing QA/QC, verifying plans and specifications, and coordinating inspections with contractors and client teams.

The role requires 5–10 years of field inspection experience, maritime or port project exposure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A high school diploma is required, with advanced technical degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• As the primary field representative, oversee QA/QC to ensure contract documents and regulatory compliance.
• Perform daily field inspections to verify plans and specifications are followed.
• Serve as on-site field representative for Florida projects.
• Monitor workmanship, materials and installation methods for quality and compliance.
• Maintain daily logs of activities, labor, equipment and site conditions.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety requirements, including OSHA standards.
• Coordinate inspection activities around client schedules and safety zones.
• Review and verify installed quantities to support progress payments.
