Job summary

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team onsite at a client location in Florida. You will develop and maintain schedules, provide integrated scheduling and cost estimating support, and help manage budgets for complex infrastructure programs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms.
  • Have great organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and critical path analysis.
  • Provide integrated scheduling and cost estimating support for our client’s capital program.
  • Provide support for scheduling and cost estimating, ensuring effective project planning and control through rigorous schedule maintenance and budget forecasting.
  • Prepare conceptual, preliminary and detailed cost estimates, including quantity take-offs.
  • Perform schedule updates, variance analysis and delay impact assessments to identify potential risks.
  • Prepare project controls reports, dashboards and performance metrics for PMO leadership.
  • Coordinate with project teams to align estimates and schedules with the operational constraints of an active business operation.

Job Overview

We are seeking a new Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Project Controls Specialist, you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located onsite at our client location in Florida and requires a daily presence on the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and critical path analysis
  • Provide integrated scheduling and cost estimating support for our client’s capital program
  • Provides support for scheduling and cost estimating, ensuring effective project planning and control through rigorous schedule maintenance and budget forecasting

Required Qualifications

Salary Range: $118,040-157,040Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
