Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Site Engineer for our Tilburg fashion retail operation. You will own local engineering and implementation projects, coordinating with IT, Facilities and Operations to deliver practical warehouse improvements.

You will spend most of your time in the warehouse, organizing training and supporting delivery teams, with a balance of desk work and hands-on implementation guided by the Engineering lead. English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in engineering, logistics, project implementation, IT change or continuous improvement.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the warehouse and move projects forward independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with ability to collaborate across IT, Facilities and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute an assigned portfolio and roadmap of local engineering and implementation projects.
• Implement adaptive technology, IT change requests and new software solutions in the warehouse.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Operations, IT, Facilities and other support functions, and escalate when delivery is at risk.
• Translate project plans into practical changes on the warehouse floor, including system changes and scanner implementations.
• Organize training and support warehouse users during implementation and adoption.
• Monitor progress, update project tracking tools and discuss priorities in weekly meetings.
• Build support for changes by clear communication and listening to users.
