Job summary

Stepan Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA/QC for our Vlissingen plant. This on-site, full-time role focuses on maintaining quality systems, performing audits, and driving continuous improvement across production, engineering and supply chain.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quality/Chemical/Laboratory fields with proven QA/QC experience in the chemical sector, plus SAP and MS Office proficiency. Fluency in Dutch and English is expected.

Qualifications

Qualified in a degree in Quality/Chemical/Laboratory field.
Professional experience in QA and/or QC in the chemical industry or similar environment.
Experience in supervision of teams; be a go-to-person.
A high level of safety, environmental, and quality awareness is required, with a productive mindset.
Experience handling ERP systems (ideally SAP) and knowledge of MS Office.
Strong analytical and continuous improvement skills; systemic approach.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems and certifications (ISO 9001, ISCC+).
Interface with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D on quality matters.
Report quality performance to senior management.
Investigate customer complaints and ensure effective resolution.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Oversee QC/QA activities, inventory of materials, and new products on site.
Identify non-conformities, lead CAPA, and manage Change Control.
Plan and follow up internal and external audits; close action plans.
Lead QC/QA team development (1 lab tech, 2 admin).
