Job summary

Hexowa Technologies Ltd in Hengelo, Netherlands is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our enterprise IT team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage user accounts, deploy secure endpoints, and support day‑to‑day office IT operations.

You will collaborate with regional IT infrastructure squads, maintain documentation, manage IT assets, and ensure endpoint security and patch management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience in Desktop/IT Support or End-User Computing.
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Dutch language proficiency at B2 level (written and spoken).
• Valid work authorization for the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and IT support for hardware, software, networking, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and OS/software issues on Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
• Administer user accounts, password resets, and directory services integration.
• Configure and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, VoIP desk phones, and printers.
• Maintain logs, knowledge base, assets, and ticket records.
• Coordinate with network, security, and IT infrastructure teams.
• Ensure endpoint security baselines and patch management.
• Deliver strong customer service to staff across departments.
