Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an on-site Technical & EHS Lead at the Zoeterwoude site to champion safety culture, drive engagement, and deliver best-in-class EHS training. The role requires collaboration across functions, hands-on presence on the shopfloor, and occasional travel to Almere and Helmond.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant BSc and 3+ years of manufacturing EHS experience, with strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering/related field.
• 3+ years in a similar EHS role within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Netherlands EHS regulations and programs.
• Proven ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel bi-weekly to other Dutch locations.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on shopfloor presence to drive safety awareness.
• Oversee EHS activities for Zoeterwoude, with support for Almere and Helmond.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to meet regulatory and Avery Dennison standards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement High-Value Learnings.
• Supervise daily maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
• Travel to Almere and Helmond about every two weeks.
