Job summary

Morehouse College is seeking a Digital Operations Assistant to support the Department of Digital Strategy & Marketing Operations. This on-campus work-study role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content management, and analytics, while maintaining professionalism and discretion with information.

You will update website content via the CMS, schedule posts on official social channels, create and schedule blog content, and collect campaign data for reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have a Federal Work Study award for the current academic term.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning new tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and multitasking.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Able to work independently or with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain website content using the CMS.
• Schedule and post content on Morehouse social channels.
• Create and schedule blog content for Admissions Blog and other blogs.
• Collect, organize, and analyze campaign data for reporting.
• Manage email marketing lists and track campaign performance.
• Organize shared digital assets (photos, videos, graphics, documents).
• Monitor website issues and coordinate with teams to deliver assets.
• Support general admin tasks: scheduling, notes, deadlines for digital projects.
• Assist other digital marketing and operational initiatives as assigned.
