As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will contribute to increasing awareness and adoption of a leading trust framework while gaining hands-on experience in B2B digital marketing, content marketing and SEO within an international and technology-driven environment.
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be co-responsible for developing, executing and reporting on digital marketing plans and initiatives. You will support both strategic and operational marketing activities aimed at strengthening brand visibility, stakeholder engagement and online discoverability.
Content Creation:
Create engaging and relevant content for digital channels, including the website, social media platforms, newsletters and email marketing campaigns. Collaborate with team members to develop awareness-driven materials such as cheat sheets, infographics and white papers. Translate complex topics around data sharing and digital trust into clear, accessible and compelling content for target audiences.
Social Media Management:
Manage and optimise social media channels such as LinkedIn, X and YouTube to increase brand awareness and engagement. Monitor digital marketing trends and suggest strategies to enhance online presence and thought leadership within the digital ecosystem.
Email Marketing and Newsletter:
Support the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns and newsletters targeting key stakeholders. Draft persuasive content, segment audiences and analyse campaign performance metrics to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing initiatives. Generate performance reports and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimise marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Assist in optimising website content for search engines to improve organic visibility and keyword rankings. Stay up to date with SEO best practices and implement strategies to enhance online discoverability within the B2B and technology landscape.
Market Research:
Conduct market and competitor research to identify industry trends, stakeholder needs and growth opportunities. Translate research findings into actionable marketing recommendations that strengthen positioning within the digital data-sharing sector.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Marketing or a related field at a Dutch educational institution for the full duration of the internship. You are already based in the Netherlands and have accommodation arranged.
Strong interest in digital ecosystems, data sharing and B2B digital marketing. Experience with marketing technology products is considered a plus. Ability to simplify complex topics into accessible messaging tailored to different target audiences. Creative mindset combined with attention to detail and strong storytelling abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, reading and writing) are required; Dutch proficiency is preferred. You are proactive, analytical, self-motivated and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools and performance metrics. Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation workflows. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and provide data-driven recommendations.
Experience with tools such as GSuite, Canva, WordPress and social media platforms (LinkedIn, X and YouTube) is important. Knowledge of collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Miro or Monday is a plus.
