Job summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead offshore service operations for Hollandse Kust West VII, based from Den Helder. You will manage day-to-day offshore activities, maintenance planning, performance reporting, and team development on the Service Vessel, on a rotational schedule.

You will ensure safety, drive continuous improvement, coordinate subcontractors, and uphold high standards of quality in a challenging wind farm environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership and management with offshore electrical or mechanical background.
• Willingness to travel as required and manage a large offshore service operation.
• Mature and solutions-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Full valid driver's license and good English (oral/written).
• Strategic thinker with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all offshore operations and maintenance planning on the SOV.
• Manage day-to-day performance, reporting, and crew development.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety walks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate subcontractors and interface with vessel operations.
• Ensure a strong safety culture and effective escalation when needed.
• Plan upgrade campaigns and support rapid decision making.
