Job summary

Vestas NCE Offshore Service is hiring a Service Technician based in IJmuiden to operate and maintain wind turbines offshore in the North Sea. You will work to the highest safety and environmental standards, perform periodic inspections, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and maintain complete documentation trails in CMS.

The role is a local Dutch contract with a 2-week on/2-weeks off rotation at Hollandse Kust West 7 and travel to different sites during the first year for

Qualifications

Completion of electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or technical education in relevant fields.
Ability to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and maintenance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Work to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring service targets are met.
Develop a detailed knowledge of wind turbine systems.
Perform periodic service inspections and component replacement (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
Maintain accurate document trails through CMS.
Register time and materials to Work Orders.
Monitor turbines and proactively prepare for required maintenance.
