Job summary

Vestas NCE Offshore Service department seeks a skilled individual to support operations and maintenance of offshore wind turbines in the North Sea region. You will operate in a safety-focused environment, perform inspections, troubleshoot systems, and maintain thorough documentation.

Based from IJmuiden on a 2-week on/2-weeks-off rotation, you will travel for training during the first year and must hold a Dutch work permit. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or practical experience in relevant fields.
• Technical education (Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics).
• AT/CT accreditation under WTSR would be advantageous.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and/or maintenance activities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) and SAP experience.
• Full Dutch / European Driving License - Having personal transportation is a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities

• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met.
• Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines.
• Perform periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications together with component replacement (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) and troubleshooting on the systems.
• Maintain accurate document trails through CMS.
• Registration of time & Materials to Work Orders.
• Monitor Turbines and pro-actively prepare for the required maintenance.
