Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Amsterdam is seeking a Vessel Representative for Pre-Lay Rock Berm works. You will be deployed onboard the nominated vessel to monitor and represent the Client during rock placement at pipeline crossings and the Offshore Substation.

The Client Representative Offshore shall ensure that tasks are completed safely, on time, and with due-consideration and attention to the project requirements (RAMS).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in offshore renewable services.
• Solid understanding of offshore construction contracts and their implications.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of IMO/IMCA guidelines and offshore safety practices.
• Experience using inspection/auditing software in construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review the Project HSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan; ensure Contractor adherence.
• Review and comment on Contractor’s daily progress reports and MOC requests.
• Prepare and distribute internal Daily Progress Reports (DPR) using Spinergie; ensure sign-offs.
• Perform onsite review of interim as-built documentation for rock dumping operations.
• Ensure Contractor compliance with technical/operational requirements and safety standards.
• Liaise with Contractor offshore team, vessel Master, survey team and Client onshore representatives.
• Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and package/project meetings; escalate as needed.
• Participate in pre- and post-project meetings to review performance and lessons learned.
• Monitor Safety Observations Cards (SOCs) and raise concerns with Offshore Site Management.
• Be present as witness during installation activities and assist HS&E inspections if needed.
• Assist in safety walks with health and safety representatives; gather incident data for investigations.
