Job summary

Fluor is seeking a Vessel Representative for a contract role in the Netherlands to monitor and represent the Client during cable pull-in operations on an offshore wind project. The incumbent will review safety plans, ensure contractor compliance, and prepare daily progress reports to keep the project on track.

The role requires offshore experience, strong HSE focus, and ability to coordinate with the vessel crew, survey teams, and client side representatives.

Qualifications

• Candidate must review the HSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan and ensure contractor adherence.
• Experience reading and updating health and safety documents.
• Proficient in generating daily progress reports (DPR) using project systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy onboard offshore vessel to monitor and represent the Client during cable pull-in operations.
• Review and comment on contractor reports, MOC requests and vessel logs.
• Prepare and distribute internal DPRs with progress, weather downtime and issues.
• Ensure contractor compliance with technical/operational requirements and safety standards.
• Liaise with contractor offshore team, vessel Master, survey team and client onshore representatives.
• Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and project meetings.
• Monitor safety observations and escalate to Offshore Site Management.
