Job summary

Tree Composites seeks a Structural Engineer focused on offshore steel structures and composites, based on-site in Delft. You will conduct structural analyses, design connections, and prepare certification documentation, collaborating across design, manufacturing and research teams.

You will apply your offshore structural engineering background and interest in composites to bridge steel and composite design interfaces, supporting projects from concept to execution.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably with composites or structural mechanics.
• 2–5 years of experience in design of steel structures with FEA in a global structure and detail level.
• Affinity with composite materials and their structural application preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of offshore steel structures and connections.
• Design and assess steel‑composite connections under static and dynamic loading.
• Draft certification documentation for steel and composite aspects.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and research engineers.
• Communicate technical results and contribute to project coordination.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering methodologies.
