Job summary

Akira Energy in Utrecht, Netherlands is seeking a Project Engineer – Offshore to support inspection, maintenance and repair projects across offshore wind farms from the Utrecht office.

The role bridges technical preparation with planning, procurement and budget control, working with project managers, offshore crews and suppliers; you will ensure safety and environmental standards while coordinating schedules and resources.

Qualifications

• Technical education at MBO+ or HBO level in engineering.
• Experience in a technical or project-based environment.
• Experience in offshore, maritime or industrial projects preferred.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work methods, instructions and risk assessments.
• Coordinate offshore inspection, maintenance and repair activities.
• Procure materials, issue RFQs and select suppliers.
• Contract suitable subcontractors and manage detailed project schedules.
• Monitor budgets and support variation orders and reports.
• Ensure safety, quality, health and environmental standards throughout project preparation and execution.
