Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Multicatmaster to lead all onboard operations, supervise crew, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with project teams and authorities to keep production on schedule and maintain high QHSE standards.

In this on-board role, you will manage maintenance planning, act as the main liaison for local authorities, and guide the crew through operational challenges with clear leadership and decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• CoC Unlimited or 3000 GT with 3+ years as Multicat skipper.
• STCW courses completed and willingness to follow Van Oord training.
• Proficiency in English at a professional level.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboard operations and make nautical and technical decisions.
• Supervise crew, ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams and authorities for smooth execution.
• Oversee maintenance planning and long-term equipment upkeep.
• Serve as main contact for local authorities and service agencies.
