Job summary

NN Group is seeking an Engineering Manager for Observability & FinOps in the Netherlands. You will lead and coach teams to adopt modern engineering practices, drive reliability, and ensure alignment with product priorities and customer value.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and leadership to shape domain strategy, foster growth, and deliver scalable, automated solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading and coaching technical teams.
• Experience with Observability technology.
• Ability to partner with Product Owner and leadership.
• Cloud and platform engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach engineering teams toward modern practices and automation.
• Set and track OKRs for reliability and engineering excellence.
• Manage NN’s People Cycle and staffing processes.
• Develop strategic workforce planning aligned with product strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to balance delivery and technical debt.
• Drive data-driven engineering through observability and SLOs.
• Remove impediments and foster a culture of learning and growth.
• Shape culture to deliver customer value and product outcomes.
