Job summary

The Thorizon’ group in Amsterdam is seeking a Nuclear Safety Engineer to contribute to the design studies for the Thorizon One reactor. You will develop nuclear safety demonstrations and engage in interactions with regulatory bodies.

Ideal candidates have a Master's degree in science or engineering, proven experience in nuclear safety analysis, and are skilled communicators proficient in English. Qualifications

• Proven experience in nuclear safety analysis, including hazard or failure analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory processes, preferably in the Netherlands.
• Experience with documentation for regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of a licensing strategy for the nuclear demonstrator.
• Define nuclear safety requirements for design studies.
• Prepare technical reports and licensing documentation.
