Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Holland, MI is seeking an NPI Engineer to lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing and to develop manufacturability strategies for new product introductions.

You will collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to optimize processes, perform DFM/ DFA reviews, and design production tooling. A strong background in PCB design, CAD, and scripting is preferred, with 3–5 years in NPI in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
3–5 years of experience in NPI within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of PCB design, manufacturing processes, and test methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback to design engineers.
Design and implement production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during NPI phase.
Establish and maintain process documentation for new product lines.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes.
