Job summary

Prodrive Technologies in Eindhoven is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer focused on PCBA and NPI to industrialize PCB assemblies and transfer new products into volume production.

You will drive DFx for manufacturability, collaborate with R&D and production to ensure robust, scalable, and quality processes that meet IPC standards, while leading improvement projects and ramp-ups on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Hands-on and proactive problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience in process optimization.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and quality control methods (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, CAPA).
• Knowledge of PCBA and IPC standards.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; with experience applying Lean in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
• Drive major improvement projects within the department to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the R&D department to improve product designs for manufacturability.
• Actively participate in New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions and efficient production processes.
• Be present on the floor daily, engaging with production teams to implement practical solutions.
• Apply project management skills to ensure improvement projects are completed effectively.
