Job summary

INSO, the International NGO Safety Organization, in The Hague, offers a paid internship for a Quality Testing & Feedback Intern in the OSDC team. You will test NLP/AI model outputs, document issues, and help improve data quality across testing cycles.

Your work will directly support humanitarian operations by ensuring accurate security incident data, aiding organisations in making safer access decisions in challenging contexts.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a recognised university or recent graduate.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Interest in conflicts and humanitarian affairs.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Basic familiarity with Excel.
• Prior humanitarian or research internship is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review processed text and data to identify inaccuracies and recurring issues.
• Document identified issues with type, model, cause, and impact.
• Check whether errors affect interpretation of security information.
• Support testing and improvement of quality-check methods.
• Collaborate with team members to discuss findings and improve testing approaches.
