Creative Clicks is hiring a Data Engineer to build and optimize ETL pipelines and help maintain our data warehouse. You will map data from internal and external sources, write efficient SQL, and design scalable data structures for reporting and analytics.

You will work with cloud platforms like Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, contribute to AI-enabled data solutions, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure accurate, timely data delivery and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modelling.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Some practical experience from employment, internship, academic projects, or personal projects.
• Interest in cloud-based data environments and modern data engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and appreciation for accurate, reliable data.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to ask questions, learn, and improve.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Applicants must currently live in the Netherlands and have authorization to work there.
• Nice to have: Azure or AWS or Google Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, Python, Power BI, data quality concepts, AI capabilities within cloud or data environments, finance/ecommerce/marketing data experience

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL and data pipelines.
• Support the development and maintenance of the data warehouse.
• Map and integrate data from internal and external sources.
• Write and improve SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Help design data structures for reporting and analytics.
• Build automated controls to monitor data quality and integrity.
• Investigate performance issues and support troubleshooting.
• Contribute to AI-enabled solutions within the data warehouse and reporting environment.
• Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Support reliable data delivery to analytical models, dashboards, and reports.
• Share ideas and learn from colleagues through technical discussions and project reviews.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Maintain existing data structures and contribute to new data solutions
