Job summary

Nike Utrecht is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, elevate the consumer experience, and drive commercial success. You will support the Store Manager, model premium service, and ensure operational excellence across Front of House and stock flow.

Requirements include 2–3 years in a comparable retail leadership role, fluency in Dutch and English (B2), passion for retail and Nike, strong communication and organization, and a valid EU work permit if not an EU citizen.

Are you ready to lead the game and inspire a team to victory? We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager who will help build a strong team, elevate the consumer experience, and drive commercial success. In this role, you will lead by example, ensure operational excellence, and support the Store Manager in all areas of the business.

Your Responsibilities as Assistant Store Manager

• Oversee and manage all store areas, including Front of House, Back of House, and Visual Merchandising.
• Identify commercial opportunities, set clear sales targets, and communicate them effectively to the team.
• Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve outstanding performance together.
• Ensure smooth operational processes, including efficient stock management, ordering, and product flow.
• Act as a role model for premium customer service and ensure every consumer enjoys a positive shopping experience.

Your Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a comparable retail leadership role.
• Strong passion for retail and the Nike brand.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (B2 level).
• Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• If you do not hold the nationality of an EU member state, you must be in possession of a valid work permit.
