Job summary

The Odyssey Hotel Group in Nijmegen zoekt een nachtreceptie voor een gastvrije en professionele service tijdens de nacht. Je bent het gezicht van het hotel, behandelt check-ins en check-outs en bewaakt de veiligheid en een vlotte nachtoperatie.

Je beheerst vloeiend Engels en bij voorkeur Opera PMS en Marriott-systemen. Ervaring in de hotellerie is een pré; je bent flexibel, communicatief en een teamspeler. Wij bieden een competitief salaris, nachttoeslag, incentive-bonus en personeelskortingen.

Responsibilities

POSITION

The Rebyl offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and service-oriented Night Receptionist. During the night shift, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining the smooth operation and security of the property.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Night Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming late-arriving guests and handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
• Managing guest inquiries, requests, and reservations during the night shift.
• Performing night audit procedures and ensuring the accuracy of daily financial and operational reports.
• Monitoring the safety and security of guests, team members, and the hotel premises.
• Handling phone calls, emails, and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Setting up the front office for a seamless handover to the morning team.
• Providing information about the hotel, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
• Responding calmly and effectively to any issues or emergencies that may arise during the night.

PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and possesses the following qualities:

• Preferably experienced in the hotel sector or holding a diploma from a hotel school.
• Fluent in English, with Dutch proficiency being a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS and Marriott Systems is a significant plus.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a welcoming demeanor.
• Strong stress management skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries effectively.
• A collaborative team player who fosters a positive work environment.
