Job summary

The Social Hub Maastricht is seeking a Community Coordinator to bring NextGen and Student programming to life, planning events and activities that spark conversations and lasting connections on campus and in the local scene.

You will build genuine relationships with students and community groups, welcome new members, organize engaging experiences, track participation and feedback, and collaborate with the Connector and hub team to keep the programme running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in community building, events or related roles.
• Strong organisational and people skills.
• Excellent communication and English fluency; local language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bring NextGen and Student programming to life, from planning to event delivery.
• Build genuine relationships with students and community groups.
• Welcome and onboard new students and NextGen members.
• Organise events and activities to foster engagement.
• Spot opportunities to create more engagement and turn ideas into moments.
• Keep track of attendance and feedback, sharing insights with the Connector.
• Collaborate with the wider hub team to run community activities smoothly.
• Support day-to-day delivery of the hub's community programme.
