Job summary

Radboud University’s NeuroAI postdoc position focuses on creating biologically grounded neural networks for cognition. You will build modules for perception and cognitive processing, designed to run on-device, enabling researchers to study neural mechanisms in realistic settings.

You’ll work with teams across Radboud and partners like CWI and AMSTERDAM, contributing publishable insights and translating designs to neuromorphic platforms while addressing cognitive processing and vision-use cases.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field (physics, mathematics, CS, engineering, computational neuroscience)
• Excellent programming skills and a strong interest in NeuroAI
• Experience with Python and C and deep learning tools (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)

Responsibilities

• Build neural network modules for perception and cognition for NeuroAI-in-practice
• Develop on-device neural networks and tools for researchers
• Collaborate with teams across institutions to translate designs to neuromorphic architectures
