Job summary

Radboud University Medical Center (Radboudumc) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in computational neuroscience of human motivation and cognitive control. The project aims to uncover neurophysiological signatures of value-based decision making and controllability.

You will design experiments, acquire data, and perform advanced statistical and computational modeling of neurophysiological and behavioral data from both healthy volunteers and patients.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or related field is required.
• Experience with neurophysiological data analyses is essential.
• Experience with computational and statistical modelling of behavioral data is required.
• Excellent programming skills and strong quantitative background expected.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments and data acquisition protocols for neurophysiology and behavior.
• Apply advanced statistical and computational modeling to iEEG, single-neuron activity, and LFP data.
• Collaborate with the ERC CHEMCONTROL team to integrate modeling and neurophysiology findings.
• Publish results and contribute to project dissemination.
