Job summary

SWIFT is seeking a Network and System Engineer for the CMC Infrastructure department in Leiden, NL. You will manage daily network health, perform diagnostics, and implement changes while supporting customer issues and improvements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, problem review, and weekend daytime work. Strong UNIX/Linux knowledge, English communication, and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• HBO level in IT or equivalent.
• Experience as Network/System Engineer preferred.
• Strong UNIX/Linux knowledge.
• Good knowledge of vendor firewalls and network analytics.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day administrative activities on the network health and performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting complex problems and drive permanent resolutions.
• Provide support to the Customer Support department during investigations.
• Review problems and identify opportunities to improve processes and tools.
• Implement configuration changes and new installations; weekend daytime work may be required.
