What you will do

• Design and guide the implementation of network architectures
• Help customers translate their business challenges into appropriate technical solutions and take end-to-end responsibility for them
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and actively contribute ideas on innovation
• Develop technical frameworks and blueprints for switching, routing and security
• Contribute to the automation of network processes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Git

What makes you a strong candidate

• Solid knowledge of DCLAN network technologies such as switching, routing and firewalling in VXLAN-based DCLAN networks
• Extensive knowledge and experience with routing protocols such as ISIS, MP-BGP, EVPN and L3VPN network technologies
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco and Juniper (SRX) network products and technologies
• The ability to clearly convey technical concepts to various audiences
• Extensive experience in an advisory or architectural role within the IT sector
• Cisco certification (CCIE-DC) and/or Juniper (JNCIE-DC) or equivalent is a plus
• Experience with virtual networks and/or products such as NSX is a plus
• Solid knowledge and experience with network automation and programming tools and/or scripting
• A proactive attitude, taking responsibility, and being able to collaborate well in a team
• Good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken (B2+)
• You provide direction and coaching to the team of network professionals and are responsible for the network team
• You report directly to account management and the customer lead architect
