Job summary

New Spring Network in Rotterdam seeks a Sustainability Specialist to deliver on a Net Zero 2040 roadmap. You will support the development of sustainability frameworks, drive emissions reduction at operational sites, and analyze performance against targets. The position requires a relevant degree, 5–8 years of experience in sustainability or strategy, and strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ESG frameworks are essential. Approximately 10% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in sustainability, energy transition, or a quantitative strategy/operations role.
• Experience within industrial, infrastructure, or energy-related environments is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability programs and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the further development of the sustainability framework including targets, KPIs, and CSRD implementation.
• Drive emissions reduction and sustainable products adoption through data-driven insights.
• Coordinate and track the implementation of sustainability initiatives and roadmap actions.
