Job summary

EMW, Inc. in The Hague, NL seeks a Penetration Tester for NATO-related work. The role is 100% on-site, full-time, with a total scope of 697 hours and a start date of 15 October 2026, ending 31 December 2026. NATO SECRET security clearance is required.

The candidate will lead or join Red/Blue Team activities, perform web, infra and application pentesting, provide security design reviews, and advise projects while coordinating with multiple NATO boards and units.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on web application pentesting experience.
• 3+ years of IT infrastructure pentesting experience.
• 3+ years in network security architecture design.
• 3+ years evaluating security products and technologies.
• Unix and Windows system administration knowledge.
• 3+ years using pentesting tools and methodologies.
• Scripting in Perl, Python, Ruby, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or be part of the Red/Blue Team during NATO military exercises
• Provide Web, infrastructure and application level penetration testing
• Provide security design reviews to ensure compliance with NATO policies and directives
• Provide security consultancy and advice to projects, plans, and other entities
• Build and sustain effective communications with different stakeholders
• Specifically coordinate with NCIA Configuration Control Board, Security Accreditation Boards, NATO Security Accreditation Authorities, and NCI Agency units
• Coordinate with Head of Penetration testing Cell to ensure proactive collaboration with stakeholders
