Job summary

Alfen B.V., a leader in smart grid solutions, seeks a Service Technician to inspect, commission and maintain medium- and high-voltage installations at projects such as large solar parks across the Netherlands. You’ll work in a dedicated team, engaging with service technicians, planners and project managers to ensure reliable energy systems.

Fluent Dutch and English are required, plus an MBO4 in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• MBO level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a customer-focused technical role.
• Knowledge of STIPEL certificate IV/WV NEN 3140/3840.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Independent, flexible, communicative and accurate.
• Category B driving licence and VCA VOL certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, testing and commissioning of high- and medium-voltage installations.
• Identify malfunctions quickly, repair or replace components and perform measurements per NEN 3140/3840.
• Coordinate on-site activities and collaborate with internal and external partners; work independently with team support.
