Job summary

Shell Nederland is seeking an experienced O&M Technician to join Holland Hydrogen 1, a pioneering large-scale green hydrogen electrolysis asset in Europe. You will report to the O&M Team Lead and help deliver safe, reliable operations and on-time start-up alongside a diverse international team.

The role covers daily operations of process facilities, safety systems, and utilities; you can develop multi-skilled capabilities across Operations or Maintenance, with English as the working language and

Qualifications

• Experience as an Operations and/or Maintenance Technician within the process industry.
• Exposure to working as a Panel Operator in complex process plants.
• Demonstrated experience in a secondary discipline (Operations or Maintenance).
• Hands-on approach with field execution and proactive work ethic.
• Proficient in English, with clear verbal and written communication.
• Experience managing electrical hazards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient daily operations of process facilities, safety systems, and utilities.
• Lead outside operator and frontline maintenance duties.
• Back-up panel operation at the HMI when required.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training programs.
• Collaborate with Shell staff, contractors, and specialists to ensure safe start-up.
