Job summary

PG Global is seeking an experienced Motorhand to support the maintenance and operation of mechanical equipment on an offshore drilling installation. You will work within the drilling and mechanical team to keep engines, pumps and generators safe, reliable and ready for operation.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, servicing, fault finding, and supporting planned maintenance while adhering to HSE procedures and offshore safety drills. Offshore Oil & Gas experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Motorhand or relevant offshore mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, pumps and mechanical systems.
• Relevant mechanical qualification or technical training.
• Good fault-finding and practical maintenance skills.
• Offshore Oil & Gas experience.
• Strong commitment to HSE standards.
• CA-EBS
• OEUK Medical or NL Offshore Medical Examination
• Valid Passport
• VCA (MIST is accepted as an alternative)

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical faults
• Support planned and preventative maintenance activities
• Assist with troubleshooting and corrective repairs
• Maintain machinery, tools and work areas in safe condition
• Record maintenance activities and report equipment defects
• Assist the Mechanic and other technical personnel when required
• Participate in equipment checks, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Follow permit-to-work, isolation and company HSE procedures
• Participate in emergency drills and offshore safety activities

Working as part of the drilling and mechanical team, the Motorhand will help maintain engines, pumps, generators and associated machinery, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.
