Job summary
ASML Motion LAB in the Netherlands seeks a Motion LAB Production Engineer to bridge concept design and high-volume manufacturing of precision linear actuators used in lithography systems. You will define process instructions and validate changes in a lab setting before floor rollout, ensuring manufacturability and low production risk.
In this hands-on role, you will lead root-cause analyses, collaborate with Development & Engineering during pilot phases, and apply Lean, 6P, FMEA and SPC to boost
Qualifications
- Excellent command of English for cross-functional communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
- Experience coaching shop-floor operators and junior engineers.
- Experience in high-tech production or manufacturing engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean, 6P, FMEA and SPC methodologies a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define work instructions, process flowcharts, tooling requirements, and parameters.
- Act as 2nd line technical support for shop floor disturbances.
- Lead root-cause investigations of non-conforming products and quality issues.
- Collaborate with D&E during pilot phases to feed manufacturability insights.
- Apply Lean, 6P, FMEA, SPC to stabilize processes and improve yield.
- Mentor operators and junior engineers on updated protocols.
