Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer based in the Netherlands for a fully remote role. You will manage and enhance monitoring systems, leveraging Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and InfluxDB to ensure proactive incident detection and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on monitoring experience, strong networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6), and fluency in English and Spanish. German is a plus. This role offers flexible hours and remote work with shift rotation.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant monitoring experience.
Hands-on expertise with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana and InfluxDB.
Strong IPv4/IPv6 networking knowledge.
Experience configuring notification and escalation workflows.
Solid Linux and Windows system fundamentals.
Structured, independent work style with strong documentation.
Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus.
Availability for rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate and improve monitoring infrastructure using Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana and time-series databases.
Design, configure and optimize alerting and escalation procedures to reach the right teams.
Document network environments and project implementations before deployment.
Review configurations and propose practical technical improvements.
Share knowledge and onboard new colleagues; contribute to team development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader objectives.
Participate in a rotating shift schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
