Job summary

GenDx is seeking a Technician Operations (QC) to execute QC procedures and ensure molecular diagnostics kits meet high quality standards. You will analyze data, document results, and collaborate across Production and R&D in a regulated ISO 13485 environment.

The role involves hands-on lab work with PCR, gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, NGS, and related techniques, contributing to patient safety and global transplant outcomes.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum two years of hands-on lab experience, preferably in molecular biology (e.g., PCR, NGS, qPCR).
• Ability to work with precision and maintain high-quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good documentation, planning and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and hands-on mindset.
• Comfortable working in a structured, regulated laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC laboratory procedures.
• Analyze and interpret QC data.
• Report and help investigate deviations.
• Document findings in a clear and traceable manner, in line with ISO 13485 requirements.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Contribute to method validation and process improvements.
• Work in compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.
