Job summary

GenDx, a global molecular diagnostics leader headquartered near Utrecht Science Park, seeks a Technician Laboratory Equipment to maintain and calibrate critical lab machinery. You will work across QA and production teams to uphold ISO standards and ensure high reliability of sequencing equipment used in transplant diagnostics.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting, with a focus on quality and uptime.

Qualifications

MBO or HBO degree in molecular biology or equivalent.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as Technician Laboratory Equipment.
Excellent knowledge of molecular diagnostics and sequencing technologies.
Experience with ISO 13485 standards.
Strong planning, organizational, and collaboration skills; detail-oriented.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands; relocation within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers for maintenance and validation.
Prepare validation/verification plans and reports, SOPs, and incoming control.
Ensure equipment meets GenDx quality standards and stores related materials.
