Job summary

European Space Agency is seeking a senior manager to lead the spacecraft Phase A/B activities for the F3 space mission. You will coordinate Phase C/D/E1 procurement, oversee science instrument interfaces, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with ESOC/ESAC support.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, drive performance, and prepare inputs for SPC and IPC while aligning with mission objectives and international collaboration. A master’s degree and substantial experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Physics is required.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a team of experts.

Responsibilities

• Lead spacecraft Phase A/B activities and manage Phase C/D/E1 procurement and in-orbit operations.
• Oversee ITT for industrial procurement and interface with the prime contractor and national teams.
• Manage the project budget and deliver inputs/reports for SPC and IPC.
