Job summary

The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a F3 Mission Project Manager based in Noordwijk, Netherlands. You will lead the mission Phase A/B and, subject to SPC approval, Phases C/D/E1, coordinating with industrial partners, national teams and the SCI-F Directorate to deliver spacecraft on schedule and within budget.

Reporting to the Head of the Future Missions Department, you will manage the ITT, procurement contracts, risk management and interface activities with ESOC/ESAC to ensure seamless

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Physics with ~5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership of a team of experts and strong communication skills.
• Experience in spacecraft projects, procurement and interfaces with partners.

Responsibilities

• Define, manufacture and launch the F3 spacecraft segment and supervise MOC/SOC prep.
• Lead Phase A/B activities and, if adopted, Phases C/D/E1 with prime contractor selection.
• Manage budget, schedule, risk and reporting to SPC and IPC; coordinate with ESOC/ESAC.
• Interface with national agencies funding payload and industrial partners.
