Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Millwright for Middelburg-area roles, performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment while driving plant reliability. You will diagnose breakdowns, install and commission machinery, and read technical drawings to support shutdowns and improvements.

The position requires 5–8 years post-trade experience, strong fault-finding skills, and a valid driver’s license, with relocation to Middelburg if needed; safety and records

Qualifications

• Millwright Trade Test required.
• 5-8 years of post-trade experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Middelburg area.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Assist with shutdown planning and execution. Continuously identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and plant efficiency. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting. Minimum Requirements Qualified Millwright Trade Test. 5-8 years of post-trade experience in an industrial, manufacturing, mining, or engineering environment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience. Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Sound knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment, and associated systems. Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices. Valid driver's licence.
