Job summary

Hire Resolve.com is assisting Dutch mining organisations with multi-role opportunities across operations, technical services, HSE leadership, and maintenance. Roles target mid- to senior-level professionals, offering a clear path toward superintendent or regional leadership.

Positions require 5–12+ years in mining or heavy industry, strong Dutch HSE knowledge, and familiarity with CMMS/SAP/Maximo. English is required; Dutch is advantageous depending on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geosciences/Geology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy/Mineral Processing, HSE, or related field.
• Typically 5–12+ years in mining, minerals processing, quarrying/aggregates, dredging/offshore materials, or comparable heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch HSE expectations under the Arbowet, including risk management and safe working practices.
• Familiarity with contractor safety requirements; VCA/SCC certification environment awareness is advantageous.
• Experience in operations leadership, technical services, planning/scheduling, processing optimisation, maintenance/reliability, projects, or HSE management systems.
• Comfortable with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo), planning/scheduling tools, condition monitoring, and MS Office (Excel; Power BI advantageous).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in site-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support safe, efficient delivery of operations across mining environments.
• Maintain compliance with Arbowet and strengthen site HSE systems and risk assessments.
• Drive operational performance through planning, KPI tracking, cost control, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical input to planning, scheduling, drill-and-blast, geotechnical controls, and risk management.
• Optimize plant and process performance through troubleshooting and improvement projects.
• Develop maintenance and reliability strategies for assets, including shutdown planning.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.
• Support project execution and operational readiness (commissioning, change management).
• Build team capability through coaching and performance management.
• Prepare clear reporting for audits, governance, and leadership decision-making.
