Azure and M365 Architect/Engineer wanted!

For the biggest wholesale trading company of The Netherlands, specialized in the import and export of a wide range of non-food products, we are looking for an Azure-Solution Engineer/Architect. Having 3 large distribution centers and 1000+ employees, they are responsible for servicing multiple large supermarket chains, department stores, e-commerce businesses and distributors.

They are in the middle of their largest IT-project yet; a company-wide innovation/Cloud journey. The majority of their infrastructure is still running on-prem in datacenters and they are looking to implement the modern-workplace within their office automation (workplace, office, phones, meeting rooms, AD, business applications and more).

You will be in charge of multiple innovation/implementation projects. You will investigate different solutions within different domains, propose them to the business, translate them to technical designs and work together with 3rd parties to implement. Think of 2/3 infrastructure/Azure and 1/3 Modern Workplace.

Depending on your experience, vision and skill level you can decide for yourself if you want to be involved with hands-on implementation (maximum of 40%) or fully focus on Solution Architecture.

What we’re looking for:

5+ years Engineering experience within the Microsoft / Azure world;
At least 1+ years' experience with designing solutions;
Thorough knowledge of the ‘Modern Workplace’ domain;

So, we’re looking for a Solution Architect/Engineer who has thorough knowledge within the Azure infrastructure domain, knows a lot about the Microsoft365 domain, loves green-field projects in a large environment, and has the innovative mindset to ‘re-build’ this environment from scratch!

Salary: 100k gross yearly

WFH: hybrid – 50% in office
