Job summary

Itproposal is seeking a hands-on Microsoft Purview Analyst to lead data governance, cataloging, and compliance efforts in an Amsterdam-based project. You will design, deploy, and optimize Purview integrations with Azure data services across enterprise platforms.

The role requires 3+ years of Purview experience, strong Azure skills, and the ability to work with data stewards, architects, IT, and business stakeholders to standardize governance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and deploying Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services: Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database, Blob Storage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Purview solutions for data governance, cataloging, and compliance.
• Integrate Purview with enterprise data sources and platforms.
• Establish and maintain data lineage, metadata management, data catalogs, governance workflows, and discovery processes.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Purview Analyst to support data governance, data cataloging, compliance, and data management initiatives.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and deploy solutions using Microsoft Purview, while integrating it with Azure data services and enterprise data platforms. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, IT teams, data stewards, and business stakeholders to establish effective data governance practices across the organization.
