Booston.io in Nijmegen zoekt een Operator voor Metaalproductie / Machine. Je werkt in een 2-ploegendienst en vervaardigt hoogwaardige roestvrijstalen buizen en componenten in een moderne productieomgeving.

Je bedient bewerkingsmachines, stelt ze in volgens werkvoorschriften en bereidt materialen voor lassen of montage. Je controleert afmetingen en kwaliteit aan de hand van tekeningen en meetinstrumenten, rapporteert afwijkingen en volgt veiligheids- en kwaliteitsprocedures.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in metaalbewerking, machine-operatorervaring is een pre.
• Ervaring met snijden, buigen, polijsten of afwerken is een voordeel.
• Ervaring met roestvrij staal is een pre.
• In staat technische tekeningen te lezen.
• Ervaring met meetinstrumenten.
• Praktisch en technisch ingesteld.
• Engels of Nederlands op minimaal B1-niveau.
• Bereid om in een 2-ploegendienst te werken.

Responsibilities

• Snijden, buigen, polijsten en afwerken van roestvrijstalen buizen en componenten
• Bedienen van snij-, buig-, en andere productie-apparatuur
• Machines afstellen volgens werkinstructies
• Materialen voorbereiden voor lassen of montage
• Graden, polijsten en afbramen van metalen componenten waar nodig
• Technische tekeningen en productie-instructies lezen
• Componenten meten met meetinstrumenten
• Geplaatste producten op afmetingen en kwaliteit controleren
• Productie- of kwaliteitsafwijkingen melden
• Volg veiligheids- en kwaliteitsprocedures

Job description

Samenvatting

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator for a full-time position in Nijmegen, working in a 2-shift system. You will cut, bend, polish and finish high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components in a modern technical production environment. Hourly wage €17.00 – €21.00 gross (depending on experience), plus 16% shift allowance and 8% holiday allowance.

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator to work with high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components.

This is a hands-on technical position where you will operate production equipment and make sure components are produced according to technical specifications. Depending on your experience, you may work with cutting, bending, polishing or finishing processes.

What will you do?

• Cut, bend, polish and finish stainless-steel pipes and components
• Operate cutting, bending and other production machinery
• Set up machines according to work instructions
• Prepare materials for welding or assembly
• Grind, polish and deburr metal components when required
• Read technical drawings and production instructions
• Measure components using technical measuring tools
• Check finished products for dimensions and quality
• Report production or quality deviations
• Follow safety and quality procedures

Wat wij vragen

• Experience in metalworking, machining or technical production
• Experience as a machine operator is preferred
• Cutting, bending, polishing or finishing experience is an advantage
• Experience working with stainless steel is preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
• Experience using measuring tools
• Practical and technically minded
• English or Dutch at minimum B1 level
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
