Job summary

Booston BV in Nijmegen zoekt een Metal Production / Machine Operator voor een fulltime functie in Nijmegen, in een 2-ploegendienst. Je snijdt, buigt, polijst en afrondt hoogwaardige roestvaststalen pijpen en componenten volgens specificaties.

Je bedient productieapparatuur en zorgt dat onderdelen volgens technische tekeningen geproduceerd worden. Afhankelijk van ervaring voer je snij-, buig-, polijst- of afwerkingswerkzaamheden uit en controleer je afmetingen met meetgereedschap.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in metaalbewerking, machinering of technische productie.
• Ervaring als machine operator is gewenst.
• Snijden, buigen, polijsten of afwerken is een voordeel.
• Ervaring met roestvast staal is gewenst.
• Lezen van tekeningen is een voordeel.
• Ervaring met meetgereedschap.
• Pragmatisch en technisch ingesteld.
• Nederlands of Engels op minimaal B1-niveau.
• Bereid om in een 2-ploegendienst te werken.

Responsibilities

• Snijden, buigen, polijsten en afronden van roestvaststalen buizen en componenten.
• Bedienen van snij- en buigmachines en andere productieapparatuur.
• Machines instellen volgens werkinstructies.
• Materialen voorbereiden voor lassen of montage.
• Lijsten, polijpen en deburren van metaal waar nodig.
• Lezen van tekeningen en productie-instructies.
• Metery- en inspectietools gebruiken om afmetingen te controleren.
• Controleren van afgewerkte producten op afmetingen en kwaliteit.
• Rapporteren van productie- of kwaliteitsafwijkingen.
• Volgen van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsprocedures.

Samenvatting

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator for a full-time position in Nijmegen, working in a 2-shift system. You will cut, bend, polish and finish high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components in a modern technical production environment. Hourly wage €17.00 – €21.00 gross (depending on experience), plus 16% shift allowance and 8% holiday allowance.

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator to work with high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components.

This is a hands-on technical position where you will operate production equipment and make sure components are produced according to technical specifications. Depending on your experience, you may work with cutting, bending, polishing or finishing processes.

What will you do?

• Cut, bend, polish and finish stainless-steel pipes and components
• Operate cutting, bending and other production machinery
• Set up machines according to work instructions
• Prepare materials for welding or assembly
• Grind, polish and deburr metal components when required
• Read technical drawings and production instructions
• Measure components using technical measuring tools
• Check finished products for dimensions and quality
• Report production or quality deviations
• Follow safety and quality procedures

Wat wij vragen

• Experience in metalworking, machining or technical production
• Experience as a machine operator is preferred
• Cutting, bending, polishing or finishing experience is an advantage
• Experience working with stainless steel is preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
• Experience using measuring tools
• Practical and technically minded
• English or Dutch at minimum B1 level
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
